The company also obtained Court approval on a few fairly narrow technical and legal matters. The next Court hearing is scheduled for January 26, 2004.
Prior to Today’s Hearing, the Court also Approved the Following Motions
- Extension of exclusivity through the end of February 2004.
- Bidding procedures for two additional surplus parcels at Mead.
Liquidity Update
The company continues to have substantial liquidity of approximately $190 million.
As the year draws to a close, I want to extend a word of thanks to customers, employees, suppliers, and other friends of Kaiser Aluminum. Your ongoing support has enabled the company to continue its steady progress toward emergence from Chapter 11 in mid-2004. Best wishes to all for the holiday season.
